Camelot offer to double your money for P&P!

The Camelot Foundation have offered to double the value of any funds raised by groups for P&P from now until the end of March 2008. Find out how you can help P&P make the most of this generous match-funding opportunity.

One World Society wants university money invested ethically

The Camelot Foundation spends approximately £2 million per annum on funding a variety of causes and intiatives benefiting young people.

They have generously offered to match-fund (donate an equal amount) money raised for People & Planet by groups in the network from now until the end of March 2008. This is fantastic opportunity for P&P to raise some much-needed income before the end of the financial year.

But we can’t raise anything withouth your help!

What you can do

We really need as many groups as possible to take just one fundraising action for P&P during the coming weeks. Without funds from the network to support our campaigns, events and outreach support for 1000s of students across the country, we face an uphill struggle to meet our income tragets. Your support is invaluable to us, so please conisder getting involved.

Go Green Week and Fairtrade Fortnight are two fantastic opportunities to fundraise for us. If your group manages to raise £250, Camelot will donate a further £250, effectively meaning you’ll have raised £500 for P&P - enough to cover the postage costs for an average sized campaign pack. Visit the Go Green Week and Fairtrade Fortnight webpages for fundraising ideas and inspiration.
